Making a Vogue Vintage Skirt

Hello everyone and welcome to a new video Firstly apologies for the weird focus on some of these clips I think I had my close up lens on a lot of the time and I didn t notice This is the last instalment of my wardrobe refresh series I will link the playlist with the other videos down below Although I am really excited about the rest of my plans to make more historybounding items it is hard to be motivated when you can t really wear them anywhere So instead I will be working on more historically inspired pieces in the meanwhile I bought this vintage Vogue pattern ages ago and just had it in my stash waiting to be made This is no 6838 and it is dated to 1949 Over all I thought it was really easy and straightforward pattern definitely beginner friendly and it makes a lovely skirt with good vintage vibes If you wanted to duplicate this pattern I would recommend looking at vintage second hand stores or on Etsy or eBay for a copy of the pattern Alternatively I also think this wouldn t be too hard to draft as it only has three patterns pieces Things mentioned The other skirt with the same fabric www youtube com watch v Zb8VomzYIqcIf you are interested in seeing some more of my work here are some links Instagram katisinthebagFor business inquiries email catscostumery gmail com
